Colleen Fitzgerald Cable
She started working in a law firm library while in law school and soon made librarianship her career. Over the past 12 years, she has worked as director of a county law library and law firm library and then as a relationship manager for a large legal information vendor.
Colleen has a BS from Friend's University, JD from the University of Tulsa, College of Law and an MLIS from the University of Oklahoma. She is member of the American Association of Law Libraries and the Special Libraries Association.
Colleen enjoys sharing her knowledge of legal information procurement and strategic cost recovery by speaking at librarian meetings, conferences and events as requested. Her more recent presentations include:
Colleen is based in Minnesota, where she enjoys spending time with her husband and taking walks through the neighborhood when they are not restoring their 1926 bungalow in the Mac-Groveland area of St. Paul.
They are avid wine collectors and enjoy traveling to various wine regions of the country.
